Streetcar Tours

2pm to 6pm

Departing from the vacant lot across the street from the Whistlestop on Fern Street in South Park.

Join us for a series of guided tours as we ride along the historic streetcar route running from South Park to City Heights on a rented San Diego trolley tour car. Tours will make stops at stations near the Whistlestop, Agitprop, and City Farmers. Streetcar tours will begin at 2pm, with the first pick up point at the vacant lot in South Park across the street from the Whistlestop, the tour will approximate the old streetcar line from 1918. The streetcar tours will make two round trips, moving through the neighborhood on a strict schedule of stops- as streetcars do! Each round trip is approximately two hours. Join us in reliving the historic days of the streetcar while learning about current issues relating to San Diego's public transportation, urban development and neighborhood connectivity!
