Block party

Join us for the There Goes the Neighborhood Finale in the form of a Block Party. This Block Party will take place at the intersection of Swift and Landis near the I-805 overpass at sunset. Attendees can arrive on their own or walk with us (with music) en masse from the parking lot behind the North Park Theater. Attendees will be treated to a participatory performance by musician Sean Francis Conway and then enjoy a community barbecue. Some light food and refreshments provided. (Nearby residents encouraged to Pot Luck!).

The performances and block party will provide an opportunity to not only bridge the rift in the neighborhood fabric that is the I-805, but to discuss issues related to the I-805 expansion, motivations for the expansion and localized repercussions - all well as meet new neighbors and enjoy yourself!
